In connection with the implementation of clause 4.4.6 of the Action Plan for the implementation of the "2019-2024 State Program on the fight against illegal trafficking of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors and the fight against drug addiction", an educational event was organized by the Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs and the Sabirabad District Executive Authority in order to increase the quality of preventive measures and the professionalism of those who implement those measures.

  At the event, the employees of the Working Group of the State Commission and the representative of the General Narcotics Control Department made speeches on the topic, increasing attention to the measures to be implemented related to the prevention of drug addiction, involving public representatives and religious figures in such measures, municipalities, police bodies, education workers, labor collectives and relevant and also it was emphasized the need to continue relevant work in the direction of expanding relations between the commissions, as well as expanding public education work, explaining the provisions and requirements of the legislation on the fight against the illegal circulation of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors to the population.

  After the event, a meeting and organizational event was held with the members of the relevant commission for the region, discussions were held, methodical assistance was provided to them, and necessary visual propaganda materials were presented.

 At the same time, the working group of the State Commission distributed memory booklets and warning leaflets to the participants for the purpose of prevention of non-medical consumption of narcotic substances, identification of persons abusing narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.
