On September 1, Absheron Heydar Aliyev Center held an event on improving the quality of preventive measures and the professionalism of those who implemented them, with the joint organization of the Absheron District Executive Power and the Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking in Narcotics                                    

  Within the framework of the event, in order to increase the level of knowledge and professionalism regarding the problem of drug addiction, extensive information was provided on the risk factors of drug use, the characteristics of new types of psychoactive substances and their harmful effects on health, the stages of the formation of drug addiction, the importance of anti-narcotic propaganda, methods of combating drug addiction, and discussions were held on questions of interest to the participants.

  At the end, the participants of the event were presented with a booklet called "Methodical recommendations to help identify people who abuse narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances" prepared by the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission.
