On October 18, an educational event on drug addiction was held at general secondary boarding school No. 2 for children deprived of parental care in Khazar region by the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotics, together with the Department of De-institutionalization and Child Protection of the Ministry of Science and Education.

   The responsible employee of the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs, the department head of the Department of De-institutionalization and Child Protection of the Ministry of Science and Education gave a speech on the topic at the event and they gave listeners detailed information about the destructive effect of drugs on the human body, the damage to society and people"s health, and the social problems it causes. Among them, the importance of effective organization of free time, sports, art and socially useful work was especially emphasized.

  I n the end, necessary propaganda materials called "Know the truth about narcotics", "Truth about marijuana" and "Truth about psychotropic substances" prepared by the Working Group of the State Commission were distributed among the children, including methodical recommendations "To help identify people who abuse narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances" were presented to the teaching staff of the school.
