In November of this year, an event on "Discussion against drug addiction and harmful habits" was held at the Azerbaijan Medical University together with the "Development of the Migration Area" Public Union and the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotics within the framework of the project of the State Support Agency for Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

  The chairman of the Migration Area Development Public Union, the permanent Working Group of the State Commission for Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs and the responsible employees of the State Migration Service took part in the event. In the meeting held with the students, detailed information was given about the damage of drug addiction to the state, society and people"s health and the social problems it causes, and discussions were held on the questions that interested them.

   In the end, the necessary propaganda materials "Know the truth about narcotics", "The truth about marijuana" and "The truth about psychotropic substances" prepared by the working group of the State Commission were distributed among children as well as methodical recommendations "To help identify people who abuse narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances" were presented to the teaching staff of the school.
