An event on "Discussion against drug addiction and harmful habits" was held in Medical College № 2 on November 23 of the current year, within the framework of the project of the State Support Agency for Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan together with the Public Union "Development of the Migration Area" and the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotics.

  The event was attended by the chairman of the Public Union for the Development of the Migration Area, the responsible employee of the permanent Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotics. In the held meeting, the students were given detailed information about the damage of drug addiction to the state, society and people"s health, the social problems it causes, and discussions were held on the questions they were interested in.

  In the end, necessary propaganda materials called "Know the truth about narcotics", "Truth about marijuana" and "Truth about psychotropic substances" prepared by the Working Group of the State Commission were distributed among the children, including the teaching staff of the school "Abusing narcotics and psychotropic substances" methodical recommendations have been presented.
