Another educational event was held in secondary school № 9 with the participation of members of the district commission for the fight against drug addiction and illegal circulation of drugs in Nasimi district, the working group of the State Commission, the district police department, the district municipality, the district youth and sports department, the responsible employees of the Republican AIDS center, representatives of NGOs operating in the district and  high school students studying in secondary schools of the region.

  At the event, the deputy head of the Nasimi district Executive Power, the head of the anti-narcotics department of the Nasimi district Police Department, the deputy head of the Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs, a clergyman, a doctor of the AIDS center and other speakers spoke  about drug addiction and  they gave extensive information about the causes of emergence, mental and physical addiction to drugs, changes in behavior, as well as risk factors of using psychoactive substances, stages of drug addiction formation, properties of psychoactive substances and their harmful effects on health, and other issues.

 At the same time, the necessary propaganda materials prepared by the Working Group of the State Commission end "Know the truth about narcotics", "The truth about marijuana" and "The truth about psychotropic substances" were distributed among the students.

 Later, a video showing the consequences of drug addiction was shown to the participants, and extensive discussions were held on the questions of interest to schoolchildren.

  At the end of the event, an art exhibition about the consequences of drug addiction prepared by the students was viewed.
