An event on "Discussion against drug addiction and harmful habits" was held in secondary school № 7 of Absheron district together with the Public Union "Development of the Migration Area" and the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotics within the framework of the project of the State Support Agency for Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

 The event was attended by the chairman of the Migration Area Development Public Union, the responsible employee of the permanent Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotics. In the meeting held with high school students, detailed information was given about the harm of drug addiction to society and people"s health and the social problems it causes, and discussions were held on the questions that interested them.

 In the end, the necessary propaganda materials "Know the truth about narcotics", "The truth about marijuana" and "The truth about psychotropic substances" prepared by the Working Group of the State Commission were distributed among the children, including methodical recommendations to help the school"s teaching staff identify people who abuse narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.
