A joint action plan for 2023 was signed between the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice and the Working Group of the State Commission for Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotics in accordance with the "2019-2024 State Program on Illegal Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and Their Precursors and Combating Drug Addiction", in order to further strengthen the anti-narcotic propaganda work in penitentiary institutions.

  Within the framework of the Action Plan, it is considered to conduct trainings on relevant topics for employees of the Penitentiary Service, to carry out medical-hygienic, propaganda and educational work among prisoners, on the destructive effects of drugs on the human body, harm to society and people"s health, AIDS and other viruses, rehabilitation and reintegration of the prisoners into society providing explanations to them,as well as showing video films on the topic and presenting necessary promotional materials.
