Training was conducted for employees of penitentiary institutions with the joint organization of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice and the Working Group of the State Commission in order to strengthen the anti-narcotic propaganda work among the people serving sentences in penal institutions according to clause 4.4.9 of the Action Plan for the implementation of the "2019-2024 State Program on the fight against illegal trafficking of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors and the fight against drug addiction".

   At the event, officials of the Working Group of the State Commission for Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Drugs, the General Anti-Narcotics Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Republican Narcological Center spoke about the prevention of drug-related crimes, the destructive effect of drugs on the human body, the social problems caused by them, and the role of the state in the organization of the struggle in this direction, the rehabilitation and reintegration of drug-affected prisoners into society, at the same time, detailed information on the ways of spreading AIDS and a number of infectious diseases was given and some questions were clarified.
