An educational event was organized in the administrative building of the New Azerbaijan Party of Sabirabad district with the joint organization of the Working group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs and the Sabirabad District Executive Power in connection with the June 26 the UN "Day against Narcotics".

 The 1st Deputy Head of the Executive Power of Sabirabad region, the responsible employee of the Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs, representatives of the regional commission, regional representative of the State Committee on Work with Religious Organizations, school principals, educational directors of schools deputies participated at the event.

 At the event, detailed information was provided on the risk factors of drug use, the negative effects of drug addiction on people"s lives and health, moral values and socio-economic development, increasing attention to the efficient organization of leisure time, the legal basis of the fight against the consequences of drug addiction, and other issues discussions were held on questions of interest to the participants.

 In the end, the necessary propaganda materials prepared by the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission end "Know the truth about narcotics", "The truth about marijuana" and "The truth about psychotropic substances" were presented to the participants.
