An educational event was organized in the Youth House of Saatli district with the joint organization of the Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs and the Saatli District Executive Power in connection with June 26 the UN "Day of Combating Narcotics".

The head of the department of the Saatli district Executive Power, the responsible employee of the Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotics, representatives of the regional commission, the director of the Central Hospital, school principals, deputy principals of schools for training and education and high school students participated at the event.

At the event, detailed information was provided on the risk factors of drug use, the negative effects of drug addiction on people"s lives and health, moral values and socio-economic development, increasing attention to the efficient organization of leisure time, the legal basis of the fight against the consequences of drug addiction, and other issues and also discussions were held on questions of interest to the participants.

In the end, the necessary propaganda materials prepared by the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission end "Know the truth about narcotics", "The truth about marijuana" and "The truth about psychotropic substances" were presented to the participants.
