An educational event was held in Baku city Khatai district secondary school № 24 related to "June 26 - International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking" in order to implement the relevant clause of the Action Plan signed jointly with the Permanent Working Group of the  State Commission for Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking and Baku City Education Department.

  The Permanent Working Group of the State Commission for Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs, the representatives of the Baku City Education Department and the Baku City Executive Power, teenagers and young people participated at the event.

  The students were given detailed information about the tragedies caused by drug addiction, the fight against the illegal circulation of psychoactive substances, the destructive effects of drugs on the human body, as well as the effective organization of free time.

  At the end, the booklets "Know the truth about narcotics", "The truth about marijuana" and "The truth about psychotropic substances" prepared by the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission were presented to the participants.
