An educational event was organized by the Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs and the Executive Power of Sheki City in connection with the June 26- UN "Day of Combating Narcotics".

 The first deputy of the Sheki City Executive Power, the responsible employee of the Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotics, representatives of the regional commission, deputy directors of schools for training and education, psychologists, NAP activists, young people and students took part in the event.

 At the event, detailed information was given on the risk factors of drug use, the negative effects of drug addiction on people"s lives and health, moral values and socio-economic development, increasing attention to the efficient organization of leisure time, the legal basis of the fight against the consequences of drug addiction, and other issues and also discussions were held on the questions that interested the participants.

 In the end, the necessary propaganda materials prepared by the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission end "Know the truth about narcotics", "The truth about marijuana" and "The truth about psychotropic substances" were presented to the participants.
