An educational event was organized by the Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs and the Executive Power of Zagatala District in connection with June 26-the UN "Anti-Narcotics Day".

  The event was attended by the head of the legal department of the Zagatala district Executive Power, the responsible employee of the State Commission for the Fight against Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotics, a police officer, university and college students, teachers and psychologists.

  At the event, detailed information was given on the risk factors of drug use, the negative effects of drug addiction on people"s lives and health, moral values and socio-economic development, increasing attention to the efficient organization of leisure time, the legal basis of the fight against the consequences of drug addiction, and other issues and discussions were held on questions of interest to the participants.

  In the end, the necessary propaganda materials prepared by the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission end "Know the truth about narcotics", "The truth about marijuana" and "The truth about psychotropic substances" were presented to the participants.
