In connection with June 26-the UN "Anti- Narcotics Day", an educational event was organized in the Executive Power of the Balakan district, involving non-governmental organizations, with the joint organization of the Working Group of the State Commission for the Fight against Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs and the Executive Power of the Balakan Region.

 The event was attended by the first deputy of the Executive Power of Balakan district, the responsible employee of the Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotics, district commission members, representatives of the education sector and municipal employees, deputy directors of schools, teachers and psychologists.

 At the event, detailed information was given on the risk factors of drug use, the negative effects of drug addiction on people"s lives and health, moral values and socio-economic development, increasing attention to the efficient organization of leisure time, the legal basis of the fight against the consequences of drug addiction, and other issues and discussions were held on questions of interest to the participants.

 In the end, the necessary propaganda materials prepared by the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission end "Know the truth about narcotics", "The truth about marijuana" and "The truth about psychotropic substances" were presented to the participants.
