On September 29, 2023, training was held for employees of non-governmental organizations in the framework of the joint organization of the State Committee on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotics, the Permanent Working Group of the State Committee on Family, Women and Children"s Problems according to clauses 4.4.23 and 4.4.34 of the "2019-2024 State Program on the fight against illegal trafficking of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors and the fight against drug addiction".

The Deputy Head and Chief Advisor of the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission for Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs provided detailed information on ways and results of combating drug addiction. The importance of proper educational work on the relevant topic was emphasized, and the sensitivity of providing information about drug addiction to minors was discussed. At the same time, in order to increase their knowledge of the problem of drug addiction and the level of professionalism, the participants were informed about the risk factors of drug use, the properties of psychoactive substances and their harmful effects on health, the stages of drug addiction formation, the importance of anti-narcotic propaganda, the methods of combating drug addiction, as well as extensive information was given about the  importance of the Interactive Map prepared by the Working Group of the State Commission.

Within the framework of the training, the booklet "Methodical recommendations to help identify people who abuse narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances" prepared by the permanent Working Group of the State Commission was presented to the participants.
