An educational event was held at the secondary school № 286 of Yasamal district of Baku city in order to implement the relevant clause of the Plan signed jointly with the State Commission for Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking with the Permanent Working Group of the Baku City Education Department.

  The event was attended by representatives of the Baku City Executive Power, the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission, the Department of Education for the city of Baku, the General Anti-Narcotics Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the narcologist of the Baku City Narcology Center. The students were given detailed information about the tragedies caused by drug addiction, the fight against the illegal circulation of psychoactive substances, and the destructive effects of drugs on the human body. In particular, the importance of effective organization of free time, sports, arts and socially useful work was emphasized.

  At the end, the booklets "Know the truth about narcotics", "The truth about marijuana" and "The truth about psychotropic substances" prepared by the permanent Working Group of the State Commission were presented to the students.
