On October 20 of the current year, an educational event was held for students on the theme "We choose a healthy lifestyle" in secondary school № 44 in order to implement the corresponding item of the State Program that was jointly organized by the Executive Power of Nasimi District and the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotics.

   First of all, the art exhibition was demonstrated about the consequences of drug addiction prepared by the students.

  At the event, the deputy of the Nasimi district Executive Power, the Chairman of the Commission for Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Drug Trafficking, the responsible employee of the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission, employees of the Police Department, the regional representative of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations, the representatives of the Nasimi Municipality, the district Youth and Representatives of the Sports Department, non-governmental organizations and employees of other relevant institutions participated and gave detailed information about the harm caused by drugs to human health, the emergence of mental and physical addiction due to the effects of drugs, and the changes in behavior. An exchange of ideas and a discussion were held on the questions of interest to teachers and students of the school.

  In the end, the necessary propaganda materials prepared by the Working Group of the State Commission end "Know the truth about narcotics", "The truth about marijuana" and "The truth about psychotropic substances" were distributed among the students.
