Meeting was held with students on the topic "Life without drugs" organized by the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University and the Student Union of Education Volunteers in accordance with the Action Plan signed between the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission for Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking in Drugs and the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

  The head of the investigation group of the General Anti-Narcotics Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the sector manager of the Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotics, and the representative of the Youth Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan made a speech at the event and also the participants were given extensive information about the risk factors of drug use, the characteristics of psychoactive substances and their harmful effects on health, the stages of drug addiction formation, the importance of anti-narcotic propaganda, the effectiveness of search and operation measures conducted by law enforcement agencies in the direction of the "802" hotline in order to increase their knowledge about the problem of drug addiction.  A wide discussion was held around the questions of interest to the students.
