An educational event was organized at the Baku Tourism Vocational School on November 1 in cooperation with the district Executive Authority.  In accordance with the Action Plan signed between the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission for Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs and the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

   Representatives of the Binagadi District Executive Power, the General Anti-Narcotics Department, the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission, the District Police Department and other relevant bodies, as well as the psychologist of the Baku Narcology Center made a speech at the event and participants were given extensive information about the risk factors of drug use, the characteristics of psychoactive substances and their harmful effects on health, the stages of drug addiction formation, the importance of anti-narcotic propaganda, methods of combating drug addiction in the direction of the "802" hotline in order to increase their knowledge about the problem of drug addiction.

    At the event, there was also a wide discussion about the questions of interest to the participants.

  In the end, a manual called methodical recommendations on "To help identify people  who abuse narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances" that was prepared by the permanent working group of the State Commission as well as the necessary propaganda materials were presented to the participants.
