An educational event on the theme "Drug addiction is the scourge of the century" was held in the conference hall of the Sabirabad State Socio-Economic College with the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotics and Illegal Trafficking of the Sabirabad Executive Power. .

   The Deputy Head of the Sabirabad District Executive Power, the Chairman of the Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Drugs, the responsible representative of the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotics, and an employee of the district police department participated at the event and  extensive information were given on the risk factors of the use of drugs among young people, the properties of psychoactive substances and their harmful effects on health, methods of combating drug addiction and discussions were held on questions of interest to students.

  At the end, guidebook "Methodological recommendations to help identify people who abuse narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances" and necessary propaganda materials prepared by the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission were presented to the participants.
