On November 29 of the current year, an educational event on "Drug addiction and its consequences" was held in Shamakhi State Regional College with the joint organization of the permanent working group of the State Commission for Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Drugs and Shamakhi District Executive Power for the purpose of organizing educational work among young people and teenagers regarding the promotion of a healthy lifestyle according to the "Action Plan for 2022-2023 on the expansion of propaganda and educational work against drug addiction among teenagers and young people".

  At the event, the responsible employee of the permanent Working Group of the State Commission for Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs made a relevant presentation and discussed the risk factors of drug use, the characteristics of psychoactive substances and their harmful effects on health, the stages of drug addiction formation, the importance of anti-narcotic propaganda and also provided extensive information about the direction of 802- hotline and discussed the questions of interest to the students.

  In the end, necessary propaganda materials prepared by the Working Group of the State Commission end "Know the truth about narcotics", "The truth about marijuana" and "The truth about psychotropic substances" were distributed among the students.
