The training was organized at the Heydar Aliyev Center of Gabala district with the joint organization of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Working Group of the State Commission regarding the implementation of the Action Plan covering the years 2022-2023 "On the expansion of propaganda and educational activities against drug addiction among teenagers and young people" of paragraph 4.4.34 of the State Program for 2019-2024 on the illegal circulation of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors and the fight against drug addiction.

  In the training held with the participation of specialists of subordinate institutions of the Ministry of Culture in Gabala region, the head of the sector of the permanent working group of the State Commission made a relevant presentation and the participants were provided with extensive information about the risk factors of drug use, the properties of psychoactive substances and their harmful effects on health, the stages of drug addiction formation, the importance of anti-narcotic propaganda, and methods of combating drug addiction in order to increase the level of knowledge and professionalism of the problem of drug addiction and discussions were held on questions of interest to the participants.

   At the end, the booklet "Methodical recommendations for helping to identify people who abuse narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances" prepared by the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission and the necessary propaganda materials were presented to the participants.
