On December 6 of the current year, deputy principals, class leaders, school psychologists and medical workers of secondary schools of Narimanov and Nasimi districts were trained on the problem of drug addiction in the School-Lyceum Complex in order to implement the relevant clause of the Action Plan signed jointly with the State Commission for Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking with the Permanent Working Group of the Baku City Education Department.

  Representatives of the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission, the Baku City Executive Authority, the Baku City Education Department and the Republican Drug Center participated in the training-workshop. Based on the presentation, they discussed the causes of drug addiction, mental and physical addiction to drugs, changes in behavior, and the fight against drug addiction. Pedagogists and subject teachers, psychologists have given extensive information about taking preventive measures and other issues. Also, opinions were exchanged on the topic.

  In the end, a booklet on methodical recommendations to help identify people who abuse narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances prepared by the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission was presented to the participants.
