On December 13 of the current year, an educational event was held under the slogan "Give value to your life" in secondary school № 189-190 of Baku city on the initiative of "Youth Anti-Drug Addiction" public association.

  The Chairman of the Youth Anti-Drug Addiction Public Union, the Permanent Working Group of the Sabail District Executive Power, the State Commission for Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking in Drugs, the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the General Anti-Narcotics Department, the State Committee for Religious Institutions and representatives of the Office of the Ombudsman participated at the event, extensive information were given the risk factors of drug use among teenagers, the properties of psychoactive substances and their harmful effects on health, methods of combating drug addiction and discussions were held on questions of interest to students.

   In the end, the necessary propaganda materials prepared by the Working Group of the State Commission end "Know the truth about narcotics", "The truth about marijuana" and "The truth about psychotropic substances" were distributed among the students.
