An Action Plan was signed between the Working Group of the State Commission and the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice

  Trainings were conducted for employees in the Guard Regiment and institutions of the Penitentiary Service by involving representatives of the relevant institutions and anti-narcotics propaganda work was carried out among people, and 15 new social boards were installed, including warning information about drug addiction and the consequences of drugs according to the Joint Action Plan for 2023 signed between the Ministry of Justice Penitentiary Service and the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission for Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking in accordance with subsection 4.4.9 of the "2019-2024 State Program on Illegal Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and Their Precursors and Combating Drug Addiction".

   A joint "Action Plan" for 2024 was approved by the Ministry of Justice Penitentiary Service and the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission for Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotics in order to ensure the continuity of the work done and to further strengthen the anti-narcotic propaganda work in penal institutions.

  Within the Action Plan, It is planned to conduct trainings for employees of the Penitentiary Service on the relevant topic and also give wide information about the destructive effect of drugs on the human body among prisoners, its harm to society and people"s health, to carry out medical-hygiene, propaganda and educational work about AIDS and other viruses, to provide explanations for the rehabilitation and reintegration of convicts into society, as well as to show video films on the topic and to present the necessary propaganda materials to the reading rooms.
