An informative meeting was held with students on the topic "Risk factors of using psychoactive substances with the joint organization of the Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs and Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli.

The vice-rector of the Baku Music Academy, the sector manager of the Working Group of the State Commission, the doctor-narcologist of the Baku Narcology Center of the Ministry of Health spoke at the event, and informed  about the risk factors of the use of psychoactive substances, the negative effects of drug addiction on people"s lives and health, moral values and socio-economic development, detailed information was given on increasing attention to the efficient organization of leisure time, the legal basis of the fight against the consequences of drug addiction, and other issues.Discussions were held around the questions that interested the participants.

Finally, the participants were presented with the methodological recommendations "To help identify people who abuse narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances" and the necessary propaganda materials "Know the truth about narcotics", "The truth about marijuana" and "The truth about psychotropic substances"  that were prepared by the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission.
