On June 13 of the current year, an educational event on "Drug addiction is a blow to the gene pool" was organized in secondary school № 310 with the joint organization of the Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs and the Executive Power of Sabunchu District in connection with June 26 - "International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking".

Head of the Department of the Office of the Head of the Executive Power of Sabunchu District, the responsible employee of the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotics, the doctor-narcologist of the Republican Narcology Center, the head of the Sabunchu District Sector of the Baku City Youth and Sports Department, Director of Sabunchu Youth House, parents, students and teachers of the school participated at the event.

At the event, students were given extensive information about the formation of an anti-narcotic world view, risk factors of drug use, properties of psychoactive substances and their harmful effects on health, methods of combating drug addiction, the importance of anti-narcotic propaganda, the direction of the 802 hotline, and discussions were held on the questions of interest to the students.

At the end, the booklets "Know the truth about narcotics", "The truth about marijuana" and "The truth about psychotropic substances" prepared by the Permanent Working group of the State Commission were presented to the participants.
