On June 20 of the current year, training was organized at the Heydar Aliyev Center with the joint organization of the Working Group of the State Commission for Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotics and Absheron District Executive Power in connection with June 26 "World Anti-Drug Day".

The Deputy Head of the Absheron district Executive Power, the chairman of the commission for combating drug addiction and illegal drug trafficking, the responsible representative of the Working Group of the State Commission for Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking, a doctor-psychologist of the Republican Narcotics Center of the Ministry of Health, an employee of the district police department , as well as deputy directors for education, class leaders, teaching staff and psychologists of the district secondary school participated at the event.

 At the event, detailed information was provided on the risk factors of drug use, the negative effects of drug addiction on people"s lives and health, moral values and socio-economic development, increasing attention to the efficient organization of leisure time, the legal basis of the fight against the consequences of drug addiction, and other issues and discussions were held on the questions of interest to the students.

 At the end, the booklet "Methodical recommendations for helping to identify persons who abuse narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances" and other necessary visual aids prepared by the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission were presented to the participants.
