In accordance with the Action Plan approved for 2024 between the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice and the Working Group of the State Commission for the Fight Against Drug Addiction and Illegal Drug Trafficking, a preventive event was held among female inmates at the №4 Penitentiary Service.

At the event, representatives of the Working Group of the State Commission for Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotics, the Republican Narcology Center of the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population gave speeches on the topic and provided information about the prevention of drug-related crimes, the destructive effect of drugs on the human body, the tragedies caused by drug addiction, the spread of AIDS and a number of other infectious diseases as well as gave recommendations on the rehabilitation and reintegration of drug-affected convicts into society.

At the end, necessary educational printed materials prepared by the Working Group of the State Commission were distributed among the participants.
