On November 26 of this year, an educational event on the topic "Let"s say No to Drug Addiction" was held at secondary school № 44, jointly organized by the Working Group of the State Commission for Combating Drug Addiction and Illicit Trafficking and the Nasimi district Executive Power.

The event was attended by the Deputy Head of the Nasimi district Executive Power, the Chairman of the Commission for Combating Drug Addiction and Illicit Trafficking, the Head of the District Police Department, the Head of the District Mobilization and Conion Department, the responsible representative of the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission for Combating Drug Addiction and Illicit Trafficking, a clinical psychologist of the Baku City Narcology Center and employees of other relevant organizations.

First, an art exhibition showcasing the works of senior students, depicting the detrimental effects of drug addiction on human health, was reviewed in the school foyer.

The event provided detailed information on the risk factors of drug use, the negative effects of drug addiction on people"s lives and health, moral and ethical values, and socio-economic development, increasing attention to the effective organization of leisure time, and other issues, and discussions were held on questions of interest to students.

Finally, the necessary promotional materials prepared by the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission end "Know the Truth About Drugs", "The Truth About Marijuana", and "The Truth About Psychotropic Substances" were presented to the participants.
