The Permanent Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Illicit Trafficking of Narcotics and Narcotics, in cooperation with the Agency for State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, held a training on the topic of combating drug addiction for project leaders of more than 30 relevant non-governmental organizations on December 17 of this year in order to implement subparagraph 4.1.18 of the Action Plan on the implementation of the "State Program on Combating Illicit Trafficking of Narcotics, Psychotropic Substances and Their Precursors and Drug Addiction for 2019-2024".

Within the framework of the training, discussions were held on strengthening cooperation in combating the illegal circulation of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and their precursors, as well as the spread of drug addiction. The discussions also focused on projects prepared by relevant non-governmental organizations on combating drug addiction and the implementation of enlightenment activities.
