The Working Group of the State Commission together with the Gusar District Executive Authority organized an enlightement event on November 20 of this year regarding the implementation of the relevant paragraphs of the "State Program for 2019-2024 on fight against the Illicit Trafficking of Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and their Precursors as well as Drug addiction".

  The deputy head of the Working group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking, members of the district commission and representatives of relevant state agencies took part at the event.

  In their speeches, the participants provided detailed information on the harmful effects of drugs on the human body, on the prevalence of social and human health and on the prevention of the spread of social disorders, AIDS and several other dangerous diseases.

  At the same time, recommendations were made to involve public figures and clergy in these events, and to expand contacts between municipalities, police, education workers, labor collectives and relevant commissions.

 Also, extensive discussions were held around the questions that interested the participants. The district commission was provided with methodical support  within the framework of events and provided with the necessary visual aids.
