An educational event on "Let's learn the truth about drugs and psychotropic substances" was held on March 9 of the current year at the Jalilabad branch of the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, jointly organized by the Working Group and the Executive Power of Jalilabad region in accordance with paragraph 4.4.17 of the Action Plan for the implementation of the "State Program on Combating Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and their Precursors and Drug Addiction for 2019-2024".

 Representatives of the Working Group of the State Commission and the Ministry of Health spoke on the topic and provided students with the necessary information about the risk factors of drug use, the stages of drug dependence, the characteristics of psychoactive substances and their harmful effects on health.

  At the end, the necessary propaganda materials prepared by the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission were presented to the participants.
