An educational event was held in Zardab region on May 19 of the current year to implement the "State Program on Combating Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and their Precursors and Drug Addiction for 2019-2024."

  Chairman of the New Azerbaijan Party of Zardab region, Prosecutor of the region, employees of the Education and Police Department, head of the Youth Sports Department, representatives of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription and non-governmental organizations, as well as members of the relevant commission participated at the event jointly organized by the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission and the Executive Power of Zardab region.

 In the speeches,  necessary information was given about the destructive effects of drugs on the human body, the tragedies caused by drugs, risk factors for drug use, the stages of drug addiction, the properties of psychoactive substances and their harmful effects on health.

 At the end, the necessary propaganda materials prepared by the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission were distributed among the participants.
