An educational event on the fight against drug addiction was organized in Penitentiary №4 and the Ministry of Justice Penitentiary Service Educational Institution Within the framework of the implementation of the approved Action Plan between the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice and the permanent working group of the State Commission for Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking in Narcotics.

 Zakiya Musayeva -Deputy Head of the Department of Gender Policy and Youth Work of the YAP Central Office, Tanriverdi Aydinov-Deputy Head of the Working Group of the State Commission, Bakhtiyar Abbaszadeh- an employee of the Main Anti-Narcotics Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Mammad Khasiyev- the Sector Head of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice, Mubariz Valiyev and Ogtay Hasanov- employees of the Department of Organization of Education and the General Department of Medicine, Rovshan Karimli -a doctor-narcologist of the Republican Narcology Center of the Ministry of Health participated participated at the event.

  At the meeting,  the prevention of drug-related crimes was widely discussed, at the same time, the listeners were given detailed information about the destructive effects of drugs on the human body, the social problems they cause and the role of the state in organizing the fight in this direction, the rehabilitation and reintegration of drug-affected convicts into society, and the ways in which AIDS and a number of infectious diseases spread.

  In the end, the necessary educational printed products prepared in a new form and style by the Working Group of the State Commission were distributed among the prisoners.
