An educational event on the topic of "Drug addiction and early marriage" was organized at the "Jirtdan" Republican Children's and Recreation Center with the joint organization of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission for Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking.

  The representative of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the responsible employee of the Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Drugs, the head of the regional youth and sports department, and the regional employee of the State Committee on Family, Women and Children's Problems took part in the event. In the meeting held with teenagers, the participants were informed about the risk factors of drug use, the negative effects of drug addiction on people's life and health, moral values and socio-economic development, the consequences of drug addiction, and discussions were held around the questions that interested the participants.

  In the end, the necessary propaganda materials prepared by the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission entitled "Know the truth about narcotics", "The truth about marijuana" and "The truth about psychotropic substances" were presented to the participants.
