In the months of January-December 2022, 802 hotline telephone call services received 2172 citizen requests. 272 of them were related to illegal drug trafficking, 821 to drug addiction treatment, and 1079 to other issues (re-applying, explaining the provisions of the legislation, procedures for compulsory treatment, etc.)

  1096 letters were promptly addressed to the relevant authorities to take appropriate measures on the mentioned appeals. As a result, 821 people were referred to specialized medical institutions for the treatment of drug addiction, criminal cases were opened on 178 cases based on the information provided by citizens related to the illegal circulation of drugs, 56 cases were not ed as a result of the measures taken, and operational measures are currently being continued according to 38 requests. .

   At the same time, compared to the corresponding period of last year, the hotline call service received more than 1042 requests. 68 of them were related to illegal drug trafficking, 462 to voluntary treatment, and 512 to oral appeals.

   Families suffering from drug addiction, who applied to the "802 hotline" call service, were given psychological support and necessary recommendations by explaining the provisions of the current legislation.
