On July 22 of the current year, the process of destruction of 248 kg 293,151 g of various types of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors, confiscated on the basis of the decision of investigative bodies, was carried out in the administrative territory of "Baku Oil Machinery Plant" LLC that was organized by the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission for Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking in Narcotics.

 Representatives of the Prosecutor"s Office, the Supreme Court, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Health, the State Security Service, the State Customs Committee, and the State Border Service, which are members of the Commission for the Destruction of confiscated narcotics, psychotropic substances and their precursors participated in the destruction process organized by the permanent Working Group of the State Commission.

 In total, 211 kg 690.27 g of hashish, 19 kg 934.25 g and 55 ml of opium, 11 kg 860 g of marijuana, 4 kg 302.241 g of heroin, 506.39 g of methadone were destroyed by burning.
